The syngas is directly used in Gas engine to produce power. For producing alcohol we combine PEGS® with Catalytic Alcohol Synthesis System (CASS). CASS is a patented technology of Western Research Institute and Thermosolv of USA.
With our advanced Plasma Enhanced Gasification System ( PEGS®) , we process unsegregated MSW, biomass, plastics, industrial waste like petcoke and other carbonaceous wastes (separately or in any combination) to produce ultra clean syngas without any environmental pollution. We use minimal pre-processing without segregating the MSW for the gasifier feed. We offer integrated MSW to Power solution for different capacities starting from 300 tons per day to a few 1000 tons per day in modules. The technology has been tested by US DoD and DoE and validated through third party certification as the best in class. The emission levels are 10 times lower than US EPA standards
The syngas produced by PEGS® plant is scrubbed for any impurities, compressed before it is processed in the Catalytic alcohol synthesis System with our patented catalyst to produce mixed alcohol that is predominantly ethanol. The alcohols are separated into fuel garade ethnaol, methanol (AA grade) and propanol (industry grade) for marketing as separate products. The mixed alcohol without separation is also suitable for blending with petrol as a premium high blend.
